River Rats for the Arts and Columbia Access Television to sponsor Three-Minute Movie Challenge $500 in Cash Prizes to Be Awarded!

River Rats for the Arts of Boonville, in conjunction with Columbia Access Television (CAT), are sponsoring a Three-Minute Movie Challenge. All movie entries will be due by 5:00 pm on Friday, November 17. A screening of the films and festivities will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 7:00 pm. The event is free and will take place at Turner Hall, 518 Vine Street in Boonville.
A total of $500 in cash prizes will be awarded to winning entries.
CAT and the River Rats kicked off the challenge with a screening of Kurt Danner’s short film, The Man in Room 301, shot and edited mostly on his IPhone 5. Shot in Missouri and California, he made his film to resemble an episode from, The Twilight Zone.
Ongoing Event - Big Fish, Big Tails and the Big Muddy Grab on to some artful fun with the River Rats. A community art project in partnership with Missouri River Relief, the Boonslick Heartland YMCA, the CCBC and the Turner Hall River Rats for the Arts.
